 After Nicki Parrot’s comments, we were looking forward to seeing Jake Bristow. Very disappointing, he is lucky we paid for the tickets before the show. Had he asked for a collection at the end, he would not have enough money for a bus ride home. Not happy.

 High seats at a round table not especially comfortable for us for 3 hours - nowhere to put our feet. Good view. Great music. Nicki's speaking voice a little soft to hear at times. Band volume sometimes too loud and not balanced to support Nicki's expressive interpretation of songs.

 The venue is converted from the pub to a jazz club very nicely. My second visit and I will be back!

 Brilliant

 Did not enjoy the View from Madelines Couch this time. We found the music a bit boring and not familiar at all. Talented musicians though. Also the meal was very ordinary but service was good. Ridiculous prices for the drinks! Some people near us talked non stop all night which was very frustrating and spoiled the whole night. Not our best Jazz night after coming to many of them.

 Marketing was good, venue great, booking relatively easy, but I thought Louis Armstrong's name was mentioned but none of his songs were played

 Brilliant in all respects. One of our favourite artists. Always lots of energy and really engages with the audience.

 All four musicians were super talented and Nicki brought them all together beautifully. Nicki's voice, singing style and stage persona are all very welcoming. We could have listened to her for hours.

 Nickie and her band were fab. A great night with a full house adding to the jazz club atmosphere. Dare I say it, best show this year.

 A great show made very special with Tyrone proposing to his girlfriend at the end of the night. Congratulations 🎊 👏🏾

 The idea of turning pop music into jazz didn’t quite work out as most of the songs were unsuited. As someone who has played in a band I felt they were not all playing in sync.

 Aaron West created a very fun and collaborative enrvironment on stage which brought out the best in all the artists. Highly recommend attending Aaron's jazz events.

 Brilliant night with a great variety of music and such a high standard of performance.

 It was incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed.

 Very entertaining. I was initially worried that the boogie woogie would become repetitive but the variety was excellent including Jan Preston's dialogue.

 These five brilliant musos played everything from BB King to Miles Davis. If there has been a better show than this at the Hope Island Jazz Club - then I must have missed it! Staff and meals at the Blue Water Grill are always excellent.

 Too many people still talking during the performance vs listening to musicians like the organiser Ian requested numerous time throughout the evening along signage. Like the venue, food, drink, set up of tables, stage, lighting, service. Will return !!!!
